This unit is located at the farm and has been used very little over the years because we are not there much.  When we close the house for the winter, I always throw some RV anti-freeze in and run it a bit.  For the first time, when I opened the water up this year, I had a leak coming down the wall of the pump room, and traced it to the dishwasher.  I disabled the supply and, sure enough, the leak stopped.  

Removed the machine from under the counter and found the problem.  Water had remained, apparently, in the intake solenoid box and cracked it.  Since the unit has been in there 20-years, we went to Home Depot to see about a replacement for the whole machine.  4 or 5 hundred bucks in the current inflation economy, and none in stock, have to wait a couple months.  

Thought about it.  The machine underneath, motor, transmission, all looked new.  Decided that I can stash the machine in the back of the porch and order the part and make a project of switching them out later this summer when we are not so busy.
