We need to change the locks since we don't know who has keys to the house floating about. I took these two off the back door to the patio. The screen door of the patio has a slide lock, but these secure the entry into the house from the back. I took them to a locksmith and he very quickly fitted them with a new key. Unfortunately they are not Schlage locks like the garage and front door, and have to have their own key.
The front entry door has only a dead bolt lock and it is a Schlage, so I had the locksmith key it to the new keys for the front and back garage doors.
All these dead bolts and knobs were tricky to put back on again, but there is a learning curve to everything and I finally got them.
