BWW -- Project #14
We had occasion to pull the refrigerator out of the socket it sits in so that we could unplug it and close up the house. It became 2023's last BWW project. When Cathy tried to fill a glass of water from the dispenser in the door, she got her foot washed...that will wait for another day next year. But, after prying off the grille to see whether there was a pan that had to be slid out before moving the fridge, I was met with a solid inch and a half of fur covering the grille and hiding it completely! It is a wonder that the compressor doesn't run continually to try and clear heat through all this insulation.
Time for the vacuum cleaner! After a long session, I got it somewhat clean.
This is when it was part way done, just to show that there actually was some infrastructure under all that fuzz! It will be interesting to see how much more efficiently it runs next summer. The leak still has to be repaired, though.
