Farm Temperature Control Table
I was at the farm reloading and doing some other tasks on a very hot and humid 4-day period. Since we have electric heat, we have no air conduits for central air, and we responded by installing free-standing air conditioners upstairs and down. They sit next to windows that exhaust the humidity and warm air.
The one upstairs is larger and has two exhaust tubes. The one downstairs, where the cooler air naturally settles to is smaller and has one.
In addition I have a de-humidifier in the pump room on a timer and it drains through a tube into the floor drain under the bed. The door to that room is left open so that humidity from the entire house will find its way there.
I ran these machines a lot, nearly all the time during the day and was able to summarize my success in bringing down the temperature and humidity (both of which I measure directly) as compared to the measures outside, which I get from my phone, hourly.
Interesting results, which I might graph later:

Definitely not a comfortable time to be there. I was able to have the most success regulating the indoor humididy, which makes sense. This does provide some comfort. Sometimes it was actually hotter indoors than out, but the outside humidity was oppressive. We usually don't even come to the farm when the temps are going to be oppressive, so the machines would work much more efficiently in moderately hot days
