BWW Project #41: Picnic Bench Feet
Cathy pointed out that the feet of the picnic table benches need to have some additions on the bottom to keep them up off the concrete patio because they are soaking up water and rotting. This is true of all the patio furniture we got with the house.
One bench was rotted away and we decided to add little pieces of wood to fortify the sides before painting and putting felt bottoms on. My part was to get the chop saw and drill up and make up the sisters, pre-drill for long screws, and attach them. Took a couple of hours and hopefully this will help. If not, we'll try something else.
It is nice to be getting to some smaller projects, although there are a few larger ones looming.
